Dear You
I don't know exactly what you're going through right now. But if you've found your way here, I'm guessing things feel heavy.
Maybe you're tired in a way that sleep doesn't seem to fix.
Maybe your thoughts won't slow down.
Maybe you've been carrying so much for so long that you're not even sure what it would feel like to put it down.
Hard seasons have a way of making us feel very alone.
We start believing that everyone else has their life together while we're quietly falling apart. We smile when people ask how we are, even when the truth is much more complicated than "I'm fine."
If that's where you are today, I want you to hear something from someone who understands a little of that darkness.
You are not weak for feeling this way.
Life can be incredibly hard sometimes. And when you're in the middle of it, the path forward can feel impossible to see.
But the fact that you're still here - still breathing, still trying, still looking for something that might help - says more about your strength than you probably realise.
You don't have to solve everything today.
You don't have to be brave every minute.
You don't have to pretend you're okay when you're not.
Sometimes healing begins in the smallest ways.
A deep breath.
A quiet moment.
A kind word from someone who understands.
If today feels overwhelming, try to focus on the next small step instead of the whole road ahead.
Drink some water.
Step outside for a few minutes.
Rest if you need to.
And please remember this:
The way you feel today will not last forever.
Feelings move.
Pain shifts.
Even the darkest nights eventually give way to morning.
You are worthy of kindness, patience, and compassion - especially from yourself.
And even if we've never met, I want you to know that someone out here is quietly cheering for you.
One step at a time.
One breath at a time.
You're still here.
And that matters more than you know.
With kindness,
EJ - The Healing House 💛
